What I (Actually) Might Buy from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Under $100

What I Might Acrually Buy from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale_

….maybe. Why maybe? A few reasons. 1. Unless you have a Nordstrom card, you can’t shop anything in this sale until July 19. I don’t have a card. 2. A lot of people, who aren’t me, do have the card and are therefore granted “easy access to shop and purchase before the rest of us. 3. This usually results in a ton of sale items backordered  before “public access” begins. I realize I just rambled, so let me back up.  In short, this is the one, huge, pre-fall sale at Nordstrom that includes the sale of items that apparently “rarely” go on sale. Instead of just “20% off of this brand” it’s usually 20-30% off of this one particular item that’s usually very popular.

Last year during the sale, I so badly wanted the BLANKNYC Life Changer Moto Jacket. Any time I tried to buy, it was sold out.

Essentially what happens is a lot of bloggers who have a card, and therefore “early access,” will share their finds with their readers. While most people are annoyed by it – which I totally get – since I myself can’t easily search for anything yet, II always can’t wait to see what they’ve found. After seeing a ton of their picks last week, I’ve narrowed down a few items that I definitely think are worth buying. If I am able to order these, I’ll come back and share my verdict on what I think and if I ended up keeping.

  1. Green BLANKNYC Meant to Be Moto Jacket – $64.90
I mentioned in this post that last year I so badly wanted the popular BLANKNYC Life Changer Moto Jacket. Any time I tried to buy it during the sale, it was sold out. I’m hoping this jacket – which is definitely different – would be the same fit.  The hood is removable and I wouldn’t normally like the color, but I saw Jessica wear it in this post and of course it looks so much better in an iPhone photo, LOL.
  2. Neutral Adidas Flashback Sneaker – $67.90
I’ve been looking for a nude/neutral commuter shoe for walking to work and these look perfect. TBD on if they’re comfy and supportive, though. Also, these Gazelles are on sale and I’ve heard great things..
  3. Zella Live In High Waist Leggings – $35.90
Everyone raves about these, but I’m pretty picky when it comes to black leggings. Since they’re high-wasted, it’s worth a shot. Just to wear around though, I’ll never cheat on my Nike’s when it comes to working out!
  4. Topshop Lily Knit Back Midi Coat – $82.90
Two fall seasons have passed and I still haven’t gotten round to buying a staple camel coat. I saw this coat on in Insta Stories and it too looked much cuter on a non-model and in almost real life. Underneath the collar, there’s chic black detailing, too.
  5. Tan BLANKNYC A-Line Suede Skirt – $64.90
I can’t really tell if this would end up looking horrid on me, but I love the idea of it. Also, not sure it’s worth the money, but I don’t have many skirts and I feel like if the fit was right I’d wear this nonstop during fall.
  6. Trouvé Menswear Blazer – $99.90
This would be a splurge for a blazer, but I’ve been on the hunt for a good grey boyfriend blazer for some time. And since I wear the same stuff over and over again, I’d probably get my money’s worth after one season. Again, I saw this on someone via Instagram and it appeared sooo much cuter than it does on the website.
  7. Halogen Lace Detail Cami – $29.90
I’ve also heard a few good things about this piece being a staple came for under jackets. But, they used to have a navy/black option, and now I believe it’s just prints. Hopefully, they’ll restock soon.

I’ll keep this updated with my thoughts on whatever pieces I can get my hands on. I’m notorious for placing large shopping orders online, and ending up keeping just a piece or two – which is obviously great for my wallet!
