Weekend Links Vol 4._
Sign of spring at Diversey Harbor

It’s been a sunny week here in Chicago, and since we finally hit “mild” temps of 50, I’m having no complaints. This weekend I’m hoping to try some new recipes in hopes of pushing through the last 10+ days of Whole30. I hit a wall on Day 15 and started to get really, really over this. I’m confident a few new tasty dishes will will help lift me out of the slump. Over the past few weeks, my weekends have been low-key and relaxing and I’m looking forward to one just like that.

Linked below are a few of my favorite internets finds from the last few days. Hope you all have a lovely, enjoyable weekend! x

  • I bought this affordable straw crossbody bag for summer and unfortunately they’re out of the tan but the black is just as cute
  • I definitely need to read this article on the best travel-friendly shoes
  • An answer to whether or not the it’s safe to drink the class of water you left out overnight (I always do it anyways…)
  • This Panama hat is under $25 and I could uses a new one…Even though I of course already have something similar
  • My newest #plantlady obsession is with an indoor White Bird of Paradise but unfortunately, I can’t find any local spots that are currently selling them (if anyone has ordered plants online, please let me know if you’d recommend it!)
  • If you’re in Chicago, Booth One just released a series of summer sip events featuring wine pairings and apps – the perfect excuse for me to visit the new spot
  • I’m no art expert, but Minted’s recent limited edition selection is so, so good
  • Ina’s make ahead lasagna doesn’t exactly spring seasonal, but it does look delicious and efficent
  • Regardless of all the business optimization advice, this was a great reminder that there are no rules in blogging – so long as you’re doing it because you love it
  • I love this list of new-to-me freezer products that are actually healthy
  • Last year, I did one box of HelloFresh and had this incredible recipe of pork tenderloin with apples – I’m hoping to recreate it this weekend, and I’m still thinking how you couldn’t tell that half of the mashed potatoes were cauliflower
  • I’m not buying the Kim Cattrall vs. SJP feud, and I’m relieved she wasn’t afraid to defend herself
