Happy Friday, friends! We made it. I took today off from work and I’ve been looking forward to spending the day with my niece and getting a much needed haircut. A 4-day week is sometimes just what you need to give yourself a break to relax and disconnect.
Throughout the busyness of the week I find myself screenshotting, bookmarking and ending up with nearly a dozen open Safari tabs of things I either want to read, watch or purchase. And unless I sit down at night and catch up, I usually find myself spending my weekend revisiting those unfinished interests. I’ve always loved reading those late-week, Friday blog posts from my favorite bloggers that round up everything that they’ve stumbled upon that week. I find that if you can relate to someone’s original content, you’ll probably enjoy other content that they’re recommending, too. On that note, I’ve been wanting to start a series on Fridays where I can share what those open Safari tabs have been holding, and pass along some of my favorites that hopefully, you’ll enjoy, too.
Hope you all have the chance to spend some time to relax and unwind with family over the holiday. Cheers! x
- I’ve mentioned The Fresh Exchange before, and it’s one of the most unique sites I read – I’ll be referencing last week’s post on their recommendations for the best places to stay in Traverse City, MI when planning our return trips
- Grace Atwood of The Stripe released her first podcast episode today – all about “Young Adulting” – and I can’t wait to tune in
- This $89 coat from Amazon has taken over NYC and I’m making a mental note for next year
- Everything at Express is 40% off – Too many great pieces to choose but I’m loving this dress, this jumpsuit and this shirt which my friend has and loves (My shopping cart is currently at $700+… LOL, jokes)
- I completely related to this beautifully-written post by Jacey from Damsel in Dior about why she’s not sure she whether or not she wants to have children
- These mini mason jar strawberry cheesecakes from Gaby look delicious and are also perfect for Easter dessert
- In-store purchases at Gap are 50% off – I love this blue striped romper, this athletic poncho and this workout top that I have in 3 colors and love already
- I’m in need of a new area rug as mentioned here, and I think I found the winner
- I’ve still never been to Sweetgreen (and it’s probably a good idea $$$) – But today they released their spring menu and it looks bomb
- My stomach has been off so I’ve started drink hot water with lemon in the morning and it has made all the difference (it’s definitely not coffee, though!) – and it’s not the only benefit
- I still can’t get over these talented twins who sing Beatles covers on the subway – Their voices make my heart so happy
